I saw that too. Wasn't that guy an absolute imbecile?
There are people all over the world just dying for us to bomb them, especially the Iranians.
But, as I recall that's exactly what was said about Iraq. They don't seem too happy with us now.

It's about nuance. You see, we as a nuclear armed nation, have not been threatening to blow other countries off the map or push them into the sea.
If Iran was stable and non-belligerant, no one would give a damn if they had nukes or not. Just like we don't give a damn that the French have them.

There is absolutely no comparison with the Iran situation in your statement/question.
We invented the bomb. Russia stole it from us.
Iran is one of the axis of evil, a pariah state sponsor of terrorism declared by the UN
We, or the Israelis, will eventually take the Iranian nuke program out.
Sure the Iranian people wish they had a country like ours with no Ayatollahs, but until THEY stop supporting them, they get "lumped in" with the rest of the bad apples. I hope the "good" Iranians are radiation-proof. Or, they could get rid of their rotten and radical rulers! Their choice!

Considering the history on both sides? No.
Imperial/Soviet Russia--expansionist, totalitarian
USA--democratic republic
In addition, the only time we've used our nukes was when we were in a declaed war with an intractable enemy. Furhter we didn'treally know yet what those things would do.
Since then, how many times have we used them? Why would anyone not rationally trust our stewardship?

that is a load of bull. you can't attack a goverment like that. that is an act of war on the ENTIRE country.
