No; the test for all works is skepticism and inspirations are more for love lost, but the universal love becoming of suffering, the pain, negativity generally is a gift, for many have suffered greatly and have died miserably in philosophical poverty.
"Thus the life of God and divine cognition may well be spoken of as a disporting of Love with itself; but this idea sinks into mere edification, and even insipidity, if it lacks the seriousness, the suffering, the patience, and the labor of the negative." G.W.F. Hegel

love plays a major role in each of our lives.even though many scientists, writers, poets or philosophers did not believe in this idea or concept as we do does not mean that it is right. my bf and i for example are each other's best friend.he of all the guys that i know had the chance to transfer to any university he chose to yet he chose the one where i also go even though there were better ones he could of attended.gestures by themselves such as this shows how much someone loves you.when someone gives up so much for you then they are putting a lot on the line none the less waiting for you to get your degree as well.i agree that love which deals with ups and downs and its rollercoaster of events have inspired some of the most famous people to write what they felt because of past experiences.you love something or have a past experience that affected you yet this shows or rather lets one put all his or her feelings on paper.
also 1 corinthians 13:4-8 tells you everything about this..
hope it helped

Not at all Rena. Love plays a major role to achieve the work at its best and the words on it. However, the love you gain may spring from hatred too. Then such hatred is used as a springboard to serve as a challenge. There are so many factors on it and love is one of them. Indeed hope and faith could be added to as a guiding test.
Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

I believe the greatest of faith, hope and charity is Love. However, without Faith, we go through life believing only what we observe. So, if our love should fail us and we drift apart, then we must have faith to keep the candles burning bright and hope for tomorrow to be a better day than today.
God is Love. Divine and unchanging, not fickle or carnal love. Divine love is pure and doesn't ask for reprocity. It loves anyway.

I'd say it's about 50/50. Some of the greatest paintings, the
most profound philosophy and the most brilliant discoveries
were not inspired by love, but the lack of it and the sorrow
from that situation. Then there are pragmatists who aren't
really inspired by much...just their tenacity and dogged
repetition until it worked.

everything is nothing without love..it inspires us to many things...even the most difficult decisions are made coz of love and even the deepest hurt are caused by love...the most tragic and the most heartfelt tales are born out of love...it is the most mysterious feeling that we tried to unsuccessfully deny even to ourselves....even though we knew the pain in entails we also knew that without it we would surely die...
