Though, I am a conservative southerner, I believe that the history books will show Bill Clinton to be a better president than George Bush. Even with Bill Clinton's marital indescretions, he was seen as a president that did a lot of good during his term. Personally, I believe that most of the nation's economic well being during his administration was a combined effect of the Republican administrations before him, being as that they say the economy takes years to catch up after policy adjustments. This being said, the majority of americans do not know this or do not think this way. The majority of Americans, being ignorant about both government and economics only see on the surface.....the Dow was highest and unemployment was low during the Clinton admin. Another thing that was attributed to Clinton was the balancing of the Naitonal Budget, but that is also seen by some to be taking money out of one pocket and putting it into another, being as that we miraculously had 4.5 trillion in debt the minute Bush stepped in office (hem, hem, moving money from SS trust funds to other sectors). One thing that Clinton did do well for America was help to change the welfare system from AFDC to TANF, a stricter plan that requires people to find work within 2 years of receiving assistance, limits assistance to only 5 years within a lifetime, and severely cuts off benefits for aliens and illegals.
George Bush on the other hand, though arguably justified in his actions, is and will forever be known as the president that started this unpopular war in Iraq. Though, I believe that America neednt stand by while international terrorist run unchecked, no one likes war, and no one likes the idea of unilaterally invading a government (except of course gun manufacturers...). Also, George Bush, like most politicians, hasnt kept a lot of his promises, ie. gay marriage ban, and the repealing of abortion rights.
Both of these politicians did very little by themselves while in office, but Clinton, though scandal ridden, was much more popular due to misconceptions by the ignorant masses. It is almost like comparing Kennedy with Johnson. Kennedy did very little but our economy was good during his admin. and we had almost nothing in National Debt. Johnson on the other hand was the symbol of an ugly, unpopular war, even though he was more influential than Kennedy in matters like the civil rights movement.

Clinton. Bush has been the WORST president ever. Lie approximately oral intercourse? Lie some war? Hmm. what proportion human beings are ineffective and injured over OIL? Haliburton's rolling in the money suitable now. And so are the Bush's. He likes to kill. look on the loss of lifestyles penalty in Texas whilst he grew to become into governor. he's an fool too, can't study, gets a C in college, whilst he had to guard no longer something. Do you think of he washed his very own outfits in college? made his very own nutrition? drove his very own automobile around? Clinton is a street student, pulled up via his very own attempt. There might desire to be no question who's the greater advantageous guy.

President Bush is a president who works hard to protect the American people Bill Clinton was a philandering playboy whose only claim to fame was blowing up an aspirin factory, and killing some civilian workers, oh yes he did get a BJ in the foyer so to a Liberal that would make him a great President.

The history books will show Bush as a strong, controversial leader, not a weak liberal democrat (Bill Clinton) riding on the dot com wave.

It depends upon the truth, honesty, competency, and agenda of the writer. Much of our nation's history is being revised and altered today to be compliant with the edict of political correctness. The children attending our public schools are being brainwashed to believe the politically correct version in lieu ot the true history. For example, President Richard M. Nixon was one of the most intelligent, competent U.S. presidents of all time, and a genius in foreign affairs policy, however, the liberal left continues its unrelenting campaign to discredt and degrade his legacy and accomplishments.
