to make your computer run games faster you NEED a good video card. If you have a agp slot i would recommend getting the
x1950 agp or 7600gt agp.

If you have a pci-e slot i would reccomend a 8800 series but if you cant afford that, get a 7900gt or 8600gts

Search the prices on http://www.newegg.com/

CPU and RAM also count but dosent make a big difference playing games.

Increase the RAM to say 2 GB.

Also upgrade the processor to Core 2 Duo.
Also upgrade the video card.

Best get a new Laptop just for games, you can ask the Laptop supplier to give one that is best for games.
You can also reduce the graphic quality in the games to increase performance with the drawback of less video appearance, but increased speed.

The videocard, RAM, and the processor. Post what your computer specs are and ill tell you what you should get to make WOW run faster, or email me at thebigghost55@yahoo.com.

To see computer specs, go to start, rightclick mycomputer go to properties, go to the general tab.

Then to find out what video card you have right click your background (desktop where all the icons are), properties, settings tab and it should say something like Geforce, nvidia, intel with some numbers/model numbers after that. Tell me what you have.

CPU, RAM, Graphics card.
Might be worth checking how fast your internet connection is too. In case its connection lag rather than hardware lag.
