The article mentions the outstanding 1998 Vikings team, but conveniently ignores the fact that Minnesota also had Cris Carter to attract attention away from the superstar rookie...Moss went to Oakland and didn't turn Andrew Walter and Marques Tuiasosopo into MVPs...and Randall Cunningham was a Pro Bowl passer before Randy Moss was out of high school. Add in the fact that Tom Brady has enjoyed outstanding numbers and championships with far inferior receivers to Moss, and the answer is clear: Tom Brady is the MVP.

Well, obviously either one would be a good pick...but Brady has been having a career best year...Of course, Moss is the having a resurgence with the Pats...
But in the end, Moss has had attitude problems in the past, so that would hurt him in any MVP consideration...
So, I'll be surprised if Randy Moss was picked over Tom Brady...

Whitlock is one of the better scribes and I respect his opinion. Moss is giving Brady a run for the money, but lots of others are helping too. And Welker helps them both, as do Stallworth and Watson to a lesser extent.
I think it's Brady #1, Moss #2.
And for those dumping on Moss because of his past, the MVP is for THIS YEAR.
One thing for sure in Whitlock's column; the IS only one Randy Moss. And I am sooo glad he plays for the Pats

The powers that be, or the ones that will vote for the MVP will never in a million years pick Moss over Brady.
Ditto goes for T.O over Romo if that ever came to be. Moss and To are having MVP type years but the voters will never give it to them because of there baggage they carry.

You could make a case for Moss but they do not seem to like giving the MVP to recievers for some reason.

an identical reason that Marvin Harrison didnt win MVP whilst Manning set the checklist in 2004. Why do you think of Moss wished to return right here in the 1st place? if he's such an unstoppable tension then why has he been so mediocre the final 3 years.

ive maintained the last 2 weeks or so its a toss up to me Moss or Brady for MVP.....Brady has to get it there....but Moss has to get there.its a coin toss for me.Brady is shattering the QB rating also.its not just the passes he gets to moss.
