First of all, there is no $600 dollar PS3. The price dropped months ago to $499 on the most expensive PS3 model which is the 80GB PS3. The 40GB PS3 costs $399. When the PS3's first came out, the 60GB model was $600 and the 20GB model was $500

I guess that you are still talking about the 60GB and 20GB PS3's because you mentioned the old prices, I don't know exactly which ones you are talking about so I'll tell you about all of the PS3's.

The 20GB PS3 has backward compatibility with almost every PS1 and PS2 game because it has the Emotion Engine chip in it. The 20GB PS3 does not have Built in WiFi, it has 4 USB ports, and it doesn't have the digital camera flash card slots. The 20GB PS3 is no longer in production.

The 40GB PS3 has built in WiFi, it does not have the digital camera flash card slots, it has 2 USB ports, it cannot play PS2 games, but it can play PS1 games.

The 60GB PS3 can play almost every PS1 and PS2 game ever made as well because it also has the Emotion Engine chip in it. The 60GB PS3 has built in WiFi, it has the digital camera flash card slots and 4 USB ports. Also, the 60GB PS3 is no longer in production either.

The 80GB PS3 has the exact same features as the 60GB PS3 except that it can't play as many PS1 and PS2 games because it doesn't have the Emotion Engine chip in it. It uses Emulation Software to be backward compatible.

All of the PS3's have built in Bluetooth, Blu-Ray, a Web browser, and free online gameplay. All of the PS3's can play Blu-Ray DVD's, regular DVD's, and CD's.

As a stated above, the 20GB and 60GB PS3's are no longer in production. Sony is now only producing the 40GB and 80GB PS3.

The PS3 comes with 1 controller, power cord, instruction manuals, an ethernet cord, and composite cables.
