Now I am 58 and have arthritis and can't walk in the rain like I used to as a child. I can remember running and jumping into mud puddles. I am sure my Grandmother that raised me had a hard time keeping my clothes clean as I was a Tom-Boy. I love walking in the rain but it does affect my rheumatism and arthritis. But some times I do walk in the rain and wish I could longer.
