Driving time from Oakland to Las Vegas on Thanksgiving Day?

What's the best time to leave Oakland for Vegas? On the return trip (Sat), what's the best time to come back? Thanks!!!

It would take about 8 to 9 hours to get to Vegas from Oakland by feeway. Traffic isn't bad on Thanksgiving on that route.

my guess is 10 hours.
best time to travel on Sat is probably after midnight.

I would leave early because it will take you a while, traffic proberly will be bad but leave early so it wont be!!!
