Nancy Pelosi issued this official press release, in her campaign to overthrow the "Rubber stamping Republicans". According to ABC News, gas prices are on average 85 cents higher today than a year ago. I know it was for the children, right?

Steve C you want me to play fantasy, and dream of the way I see it? Look at the facts, and buy a hybrid for that long ride home from left field. You guys say that Bush lied, yet you have no proof, I just busted, with proof, the 3rd highest ranking official in our country.

I guess it wasn't for the children...the President vetoed that, remember?

Maybe the Prez should call his buddies the Saudis (you know, the country were 16 of the highjackers were from) and have them flood the market again so the prices can come down.

Oh and forget 85 cents higher. Gas is $85 higher per barrell than the highest point when the last guy (the one who's name we won't speak) was in the White House.

That's great, but how about trying to make case for how things would be different if the Republicans were still in power...if you can't make that case, then we are even. Better to have Congress trying to solve problems than not trying at all. I'm not defending Dems, just wondering how you think things would have been better under Republican control?
