well his statement certainly does fit the style of game they are playing! if tom brady and the pats want to go out there and show other teams who's boss, good for them. what bothers me is when they run the score up on a team like miami. come on, have a little bit of common courtesy! he can say things like that, i have no problem with it. and im sure he will back those statements up everytime by killing every team they play! but honestly, i can't wait for the team that upsets them and makes brady look like an *** :)
im a packer fan so hopefully we can do it...in the superbowl...haha :)

It was already pretty obvious that they were trying to destroy teams. They would go for it on 4th down when they are up by 40 points. But really it is not a big deal. This is not a house league it is the NFL you don't have to be a good winner and let up instead of winning by 50 points and pouring it on in the 4th quarter, when the game is already won. Other teams should not be complaining that they run up the score they should be playing at a level that won't get them blown out every game.

This is pro sports, there is no such thing as running the score. Remember the fiasco the Oilers had against Buff in the playoffs a few years back. The Oilers were up 35-3 in the 3rd Q and lost that game.

That's what they should be doing...they get paid very well to try and do just that each and every week. I am so tired of hearing all this crap about the Pats running the score up on everyone. I am not a Pat fan at all, but it is not THEIR responsibilty to keep the scores of their games close...that is up to their opponents.

I agree, you sound like you played ball, and when you played I'm guessing you tried to blow out your opponents. Reminds me of an old quote from the late Woody Hayes, when his team was up like 40 points late in the fourth quarter and he went for a two point conversion instead of kicking an extra point. A reporter asked him why he did that? he says "because I couldn't go for three" gotta luv it.

There isnt a team in football that shouldnt go out and try and blow people out. I dont have a problem with them doing it, the only thing I see though is it could get their back ups some valuable experience but if thats how they want to play it obviously works.

Its beautiful. Its what sport is all about. Winning. And the only sure way to win is by scoring and continuing to score til the game is over, without regard to your opponents feelings; especially in the pro's. You start to worry about if your opponent feels badly then you open a door for them to exploit.

In the Boston area, lately thats all you here about . Dennis and Callahan finally pushed him a little far. It's good he got it off his chest. They can concentrate and work on game prep now. Nationally it shouldn't be taken as an insult. The Patriots always respect their opponents. Go Pats! Go D+C and WEEI!

Personally, I have nothing negative to say about it. That's pretty much the attitude that every player in any sport should have before a game or even season.

I love it...The Pats are pissed off, and playing like it...What this is is Belichick rubbing off on the team...Its not about embarassing other teams...but it is about giving the rest of the NFL and the NFL front office the finger...figuratively, of course...because of the camera thing...and saying that they are gonna beat you senseless without cameras too...
