The older stuff (which I'm not looking for, it's just a guideline) I listen to includes Deadguy/Kiss It Goodbye, Human Remains, Slayer, Obituary, Eyehategod, Snapcase, Hatebreed.
I DO NOT like metal with "singy" parts. i.e. All That Remains, Devil Wears Prada. It just takes me right out of the music.
Please, no Disturbed, Mudvayne, Slipknot, A7X or any other "radio" metal.

well this may be kinda heavy for you.. the metal bands you like arent as extreme as the ones i listen to but here is a long list of very good and heavy metal bands. Nevermore has clean vocals but they are awesome anyways.

First of all make sure you have the new between the buried and me album "Colors" It kicks a**. and also new Black Dahlia album "Nocturnal" That kicks even more *ss. your life is meaningless unless you have it. Anyways, 'Beneath the massacre' is insane. Download the song "society's disposable son' Do it NOW!!!
