I'm serious now...It may actually last for a few sentences.
American society is far to complex and complicated to be represented by a single show
But it is part of how American Society is perceived, by outsiders so it ranges from the utterly amazing and admirable
to the profane and filthy.
So in a way that's a Yes....But I'll say Yes to Walt Whitman also.

Not MY values. The Jerry Springer show sucks. And the only people who watch it are either bored to death, or have no idea what real journalism is.

I don't know anyone from the US, the UK, Canada, Austrailia, NZ or anywhere else that are anything like the people that go on any of the 'Springer' type shows in their countries......it must take a lot of work to find these people.

Its between funny as hell and stupid watching hicks fighting and how idiotic they look doing it.

But as a whole, Jerry Springer has no representation of American values. Only the values of idiots.

Springer is just entertainment. He has nothing to do with American Values. His shows are mostly staged and feature people starving for fifteen minutes of fame. I think his shows are funny just like his audience and people with a sense of humor.

Springer shows the proctologist's view of American life. He is getting rich making Americans look like trash. I think he is trash.

There is nothing about that show that represents values. That show is a good discription of what a lack of values will do to people.
I'd say all of those people need to go round for round with a therapist.

No. Jerry Springer's circus only serves to highlight the worse qualities of people. It's pure sleaze.
