By quality, Sorry to say you are pretty much stuck with what you have unless your computer is capable of upgrading.
Computers are cheap, look into a new one and get the latest up to datest.

This is a pretty broad question. It's like asking how do I change the quality of my car or house or spouse.
Adding RAM to a system is a good first step.

1. brand of computer
2. what is installed, operating system Windows??? 98SE, Millinium, 2000, XP. ??
What CPU is installed, INTEL,what speed??
what size memory?256mb??
what size hard drive??5gig up??
, got floppy, CD, DVD drives?? either one a burner??( recorder/rewriter??
Is computer hooked to dial-up line, DSL service or cable modem service.???
Do you play a lot of games on computer?? you have a game/video/multi-media/ card installed?
