I hope somone can answer this. Who has the game atleast. Is it true that Call of Duty 4 is only 4-5 hour long gameplay?

It lasts 4-5 hours only if you play on novice or regular level. I guarantee on hardened or veteran it will take significantly longer. The single player campaign is just so well done and clearly thought out with a variety of different missions. You begin with a time trial that will have to practicing over and over even once you finish the game. Then you storm a freight ship in the raging Bering Strait to gather intel before the ship sinks. The infamous AC130 gunship level that looks so real it's frightening. You get chased by helicopters and the rugged terrain of Azerbaijan. The sniper level is amazing! You're decked out in ghillie suit and have to keep a low profile while you work your way toward a momentous bomb exchange. I'm not even hitting all the other incredible levels. The best part is once you finish the campaign it unlocks this badass arcade mode that you can compare scores with other players around the world. And don't even get me started on the gut-wrenching multiplayer. I don't often get so excited about a game but this to me is the best FPS ever made. EVER!

The single player part can be (depending how good you are, obviously).
It does look and play fantastically, though. It's the sort of game you can replay a level and have just as much fun second time round or on a higher difficulty.
There's also the multi-player aspect to it.

The game itself for single player is ... but online is infinite. If there ever was a reson to buy the game it would be because of the online potential involved ... worth the money.

i would say that is true but it is not ...if your good at shooters and you play on the normal difficuilty it wont take u 4 to 5 hours....but the missions are awesome...for example on one mission you have to creep around the city without being caught wearing camo suits and haveing snipes.....it is worth the money.....the campaign is not boring ...its a little short but very good...i was happy with it ....i played it on normal.....and still got stuck on some parts.....it is very intense and you will not want to put the controller down...i highly reccomend it ...and the online mulitiplayer is awesome to.....get it ......it beats all the FPS out therre right now......i could go on and on about it but i dont want to spoil it.......=) good luck hope you get it..
