There are a couple of ways people are making money on Ebay:
(1) They are selling wholesale goods. There is a list of wholesalers at http://www.iwanttosellstuff.com
(2) They buy things at garage sales and resell it.
(3) They make money when other people buy stuff on Ebay. If you want to know how to do this, then send me an email.

Millions of people are making good money on Ebay. Some are making a fortunes. If you do it the right way and use your brains well it is not hard at all. But prepare yourself to spend 3-4 hours per day on Ebay.

When someone came to pick up a huge bag of packing peanuts I had to give away on Freecycle, we got to talking and he pointed to his car and said eBay bought that for him--he would pick up non-working electronic equipment, fix it, and sell it on eBay (he needed the peanuts for packaging that). His wife sold Beanie Babies and made a good income on that with collectors.

At the fabic store I talked to the clerk at the cutting table, she said that a lady comes in all the time, buys up 60 different polar fleece designs (2 yards each) and makes blankets of them which she sells on eBay EACH MONTH. 60 blankets a month, she drops over $200 in fabric costs and makes back three times that at bare minimum. All she does is edge the sides with binding ribbon.

They're out there. They do a good job and they sell.
