as you see there is a line or 2 of ripped or loose scales. and it looks white. I always see the bigger platy chaseing around the new one. people say there just " trying to breed" but i dont think that when there breeding the fish would be bitting its scales off. And there is no disease in my tank either. I do a 20% water change every day. tell me what you think.

This actually looks like a healthy pregnant female platy to me, from the picture you have taken

If you could get a pic more closeup, we would be able to tell you more

Hope that helps
Good luck

It's an aggression issue - sounds like you have a territorial male who IS trying to breed with the one in the picture (looks like a female) and this can lead to the female just getting stressed out and dying. If not, then it's purely a territory issue and you either have to remove the new one, or introduce more females to spread the males aggression around so he doesn't pick on the same one all the time. I had two males that wouldn't stop fighting, ended up trading them in.
If your other one isn't a male, then it's an unusual occurence for two females to fight.
Your water changing schedule is commendable. 20% every other day would be fine if you don't have that many fish. Wish I had the time to change that much every day, but then, I've got 6 tanks....

Have you done every type of water element test(changing water, every day is not great to start with.Behavioural&health changes are almost always attributed so the water...
Add some salt to your tank,it's now poss.to get the other diseases going in the tank.
She should be in quarentine+maybe all purpose remedy(help prevent her getting white spot ect..)&treat the comunity tank.Prevention is better than cure..PS;by changing water every day,you are not letting the bio colonies of good bacteria to grow. These need time to establish eco systems+in turn help your fish build a proper scale&slime coating.Give it a rest..be patient.Rome wasn't built in a day,&nor is a sustainable fish tank.

They are probably not trying to bread. The fish is either being picked on or has a fungus or disease (maybe ick or some other fungus).

You shouldn't changed your water so much.
