If I had stayed married to my Ex ("Ex" is short for "Extra Bad Lapse In Judgment"), we would have our 10-year wedding anniversary on November 27. What a creepy thought.

My dad's birthday. It was the first time I ever bought him a gift (I was only 7 at the time). It was significant because I felt kind of independant. Happy birthday Dad.

If i told you that i decided to end my life at 14 years old and then tried you would maybe think that i have more to live for and that i'm only 14 and have at least 60 years of life (on average) I have felt that way before and it is hard to go through, it seems like there is no end, but it does eventually go away a little at a time, the thing that you have got to remember is that you can do alot of stuff to sort your life out before suicide is an option, I asume you are originaly from the U.K but moved to America, the ovious option is: move away from america and rebuild a better reputation somwhere else in the world good luck and i say, as a mature 14 year old kid who has experianced a hard time as well: suicide is not the answer

It was 10 years ago that I finally brought home the guy (my college sweetie) I thought I would spend the rest of my life with...I introduced him to everyone that meant the world to me in Miami!!! It was the Christmas and New Years season. The crazy part about it we got into a huge fight New Year's Eve, and that's exactly how we rang in the New Year arguing over something I said to him at the beach earlier that day...making the 6 hour ride back to my place in North Central Florida unbearable...he had flown down from med school in Alabama and had never been to any kind of Disney World and since I was the Florida Girl driving and he was laying over there fast asleep... I thought of a funny way to make up with him...so I got off the Fl Turnpike and took I-4 West until I got to the Disney exit.
When he woke up we were in the parking lot of freaking Downtown Disney World (the adult section of the park to me). He couldn't believe I did that...we got out of the car and stood in the middle of the parking lot talking about our fight, but we hadn't officially made up until I said, "Hey, I'm hungry aren't you hungry?" And it pissed him off even more because he thought I was disregarding our issue and just wanted to go eat. He said, "what the hell do you mean hungry...don't you think we need to resolve this, us?" So, I took his hand (I really did this....I had to do something....I never got my New Years nookie ) and I said motioning with my hands, "can we talk in there?" When he looked where I was pointing...he hadn't realized we were near the House of Blues. He love Jazz and Blues so much it use to drive me nuts, but I dealt with it. We were just in time because there was some blues guy setting up for a night set...my ex looked looked at me and just smiled!! And we stood in the middle of Downtown Disney smoochie smooching and I of course I said sorry for whatever the hell I did...I was a real spoiled b**** back then.
Long story short, we ended up breaking up that following summer after vacationing with some friends in NY/DC/VA and he actually got married this past summer...that was a real significant event in my life 10 years ago....and it's funny because this past summer I met a really great man and I am so crazy about him!
Funny how life is....

My best friend committed suicide that day. I'm still profoundly saddened by it. I hope that these are better times for you... Be thankful that you're free from him.
