i put alot of thougt in too,if its over my budget,we will combine $$..

I spend all year listening and paying attention...so when gift buying time comes I generaly have all the info I need to get a great gift....sometimes only takes a small off hand comment to be remembered to get that gift that truly amazes the one your giving to.

Actually my husband and I spend about $50.00 to $65.00 and we buy everything we need to make homemade goodie trays. We buy all the tins and trays clearanced out after Christmas. Then we bake cookies ( 4 different kinds) Rocky Road Fudge, Rice Krispy Treats, homemade peanut clusters, white chocolate candy cane minty things and we through in some store bought chocolates, thin mints, kisses and candy canes.
Everyone gets a gift. Families get a bigger tray, singles get a smaller one.
Last year I bought Chinese food boxes and decorated them with pretty ribbons and boughs.
so basically for about 35 families or more depending we were able to give gifts to many. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to afford to give gifts to our families.
I love the homemade stuff the best!

I put a lot of thoughts into buying gifts. I get the appropriate gift for each person.

I put a mega amount of time into them. I put a lot of thought into them. I love buying gifts for people, so for me, it can take hours for just one gift. I love the moment when a person opens a gift to realize it's the perfect one for them!!

I put in a lot of thought usually, but sometimes not enough. It depends on who the gift is for, too.

Well If I dont know much about the person I might just like give them money or buy some fun thing. But if they are my friend Id be thoughtful and make sure its something they like. I think about something they like and if I see something cool that they are interested in Id get it.

I try to get things for people that they are interested in. theres no point buying for example a football for someone who is mad about golf, you might as well spend the money on something to do with golf. as for kids i find out what they like to play with at home and get something like it, or something educational to play with that will teach at the same time as playing.
So yes, a lot of thought goes into my present buying.

ummm well..it depends on the person. I think who it is and just buy something that fits my budget. For some others, I just buy them a general gift.

I dont put much thinking into it, I just buy something that i know would fit the person/the person would be interested in it

it depends on who i'm buying for. the closer the person is to me, the more thought i put into their gift.
