y=mx+b is slope-intercept form

so if the slope is m and the y-intercept is b
then you can say the equation is
y=-6x+9

The second one.

The equation for a line is like this:
y=mx + b

It says the slope is -6 and the y-intercept is 9.

The equation looks like this:
y= -6x + 9

It is y=-6x+9 because the y-intercept is a positive number.

Id say y= -6x+9
becuase even though the 6 is negative, the intercept is still positive.

Slope-intercept y = mx + b
the m is the slope and the b is the y-intercept

In this case, y = -6x + 9

just plug the intercept where the b is

y-9= -6(x-0)
y-9= -6x-0

y-9= -6x-0
+9 +9
