I just took a test and it came up with 2 lines and according to the box, that means positive. It's just one line is lighter than the other. I just am in shock, I don't think I am. Anyone have this same situation?

I had the same issue when I was pregnant and so did my sister.. Buy another just to make sure, however the slightest line is a positive reading.

Take another test; use your first urine sample of the day.
My friend just found out she was pregnant, and her ob/gyn said those tests are so accurate now (in terms of very few false positives), she doesn't need to come into the office for an in-office test.
However, with such a faint line, you'll want to retest.

You are probably pregnant. Take another test to double check and then test again in a couple days to be fairly certain of the result. After that call the doc and set up an appt. and congrats...and it is normal for one line to be fainter than the other sometimes.

It doesn't matter if one line is lighter than the other one- it still means the pregnancy hormone has been detected in your sysmte, which means you're pregnant! If you're worried, you can take another test in a couple of days and the line should get darker.

I work for an OB/Gyn. The Urine test is 99% accurate - meaning you are pregnant. A faint positive means you're very early. Test again in a few days. Congratulations?? If not - email me, I'm looking to adopt :)

Take another test, and if your still unsure visit a doctor for testing. You can take as many at home tests as you want just to make sure but a doctor visit is always more accurate. Good luck, I hope you get the answer you are looking for.

yes, I think you are. Last time I took one it said that even if one of the lines was very faint, you still are pregnant.

i took my pregnancy test a week before my period was due and had one dark line and one faint line - i WAS pregnant and am now a very happy Mom

Two weeks ago, same thing happened to me, went to the doctor.. I was 8 weeks pregnant.

It means you are pregnant....even if the line is faint you are still pregnant. Congrats.
