I like it a lot. It's both strong and utterly feminine, and it's also not something you hear all the time (like Olivia, or ***gag*** yet another Taylor).

I love it. I know an Athena and she's cool. She gets a lot of compliments on her name.

i personally do not like it. My mom is pregnant and wanted to name the baby athena. Thankfully its a boy though.

I love it! My sister's name is Athena. Athena Artemis is her name.

I quite like it. Strong, unexpected and completely intriguing. I slightly prefer similar Althea or Alethea, however. Not sure why. Perhaps just a less ready association for most?

I like it fine but I wouldn't use it myself. I used to know a woman with that name and no one thought it was strange.

It sounds beautiful for a religious or Greek family! If they're not its still a special name, but i probably wouldn't go for.
