Spouse cheats frequently and openly
Spouse is too controlling ( a Drew Peterson kind of guy)
Spouse does not want to work and places the entire financial burden on his(her) wife (husband).
Spouse can't control his(her) spending habits, drinks too much, does drugs, is ohysically or mentally abusive.
Or the spouse is absent from the relationship.
Sure agy could be an issue, but Mc Greevey's wife certainly knew he was gay, as did just about everyone else.

I have read several places that financial stresses/problems is the #1 cause...also cheating, constant arguing, people change as time passes and sometimes one partner cannot/does not accept the changes in the other...sometimes marriages break up because couples argue about parenting issues.....

Cheating (mainly the number one reason), physical abuse, mental abuse, maybe he or she touched one of the children, sexual issues (gay or lesbian and can't satisfy their partner in the bedroom), financial issues, etc.
