I think about 80% of what is going on now-a-days is unAmerican.

Or maybe UNreality where either you're under the illusion or being persecuted for seeking the truth.

I agree with Billy M. But why pick on Bush. What President has conformed to the will of the people? America is split. A lot of Americans don't want to be in Iraq. But there we are! MOST Americans don't want illegals here, and the boarders enforced. The Democrats won't give us that. So short of an all out Revolution, what do you suggest. I'm a registered Independent for a reason, I'm for the best person for the job, or for America. Not one of the people running will satisfy everyone. Half of the US will always be calling for the impeachment of someone.

In 06 America voted overwhelmingly for change. This is total drivel. If anyone thought that electing extra democrats was a vote for change, they are very misinformed. The same thing was said (in a different way) when the republicans were swept into power some years ago and look what didn't happen. Why would anyone think that simply replacing one party with another party and not changing the entire membership would change anything. As long as the "career" politicians run this country, there will be no change for the better, change that drives bipartisian cooperation, or change that really addresses the woes this country faces. Fire them all and start over, that is the only true way to effect change.

No. Sorry, those are the brakes. The President can veto any law. There is fairness though, the Pres can NOT make laws and Congress can override the veto with 2/3 majority in both houses. Since he is who America chose as president, as a whole, then he is acting the way most Americans would want him to (at least in theory).

No, because the same american voters also voted him in as president in 2004.

if the change is counter productive and dangerous to the economy wheres the argument? the idea of electing a president is to have a representative to handle the problems. its pretty essential to allow him to do his job, contrary to what the pelosi;/reid regime will tell you.

No, it's his job to do just that.
