Guerrero, and I'm talking about their performances and not just forgetting Benoit's ability because he went crazy and became a killer. Chris Benoit had technical ability, but he lacked charisma. It's why he had a few months with the world title, but for the most part was always a midcarder.

Eddie Guerrero IMO could wrestle just as well as Benoit, plus he was great on the mic and was very charismatic. Even though he had about as much time with the top title as Benoit did, Eddie was still always featured prominently and was in the middle of a world title feud before his tragic passing because he was the most entertaining guy on the roster.

Chris Benoit has become a martyr for what he did, and for what, is everyone forgetting that he killed two members of his close family. Eddie Guerrero died of drug related illnesses, but at least he didnt kill others in the process. Eddie Guerrero was the better.

They were both very entertaining. I personally would have to pick Eddie because he was so f*cking funny. The whole give the guy a chair and lay down thing... never got old for me. Benoit did take some big risks, which eventually lead to his downfall. Diving headbutts off of ladders, and in general, screwed him up. I read that that move is very dangerous, can put alot of pressure on the brain.

"After the double-murder suicide, former wrestler Chris Nowinski contacted Michael Benoit, father of Chris Benoit, suggesting that years of trauma to his son's brain may have led to his actions. Tests were conducted on Benoit's brain by Julian Bailes, the head of neurosurgery at West Virginia University, and results showed that "Benoit's brain was so severely damaged it resembled the brain of an 85-year-old Alzheimer's patient." It was also shown to have an advanced form of dementia and was similar to the brains of four retired NFL players who have suffered multiple concussions, sank into depression and harmed themselves or others. Bailes and his colleagues concluded that repeated concussions can lead to dementia, which can contribute to severe behavioral problems."

Rest in Peace Chris and Eddie.

That is real hard to compare but I would go with Eddie Gurrero because he was a better technical wrestler and he could out move any wrestler he faced. He made an impact on every move he made. He was also really entertaining, it was entertaining the whole match.
