American Flags
Flag burning was a common protest in the late 60s early 70s.
Not sure how to fit this into your letter blanks.
Have you got them right?
Bras were also burned in that era, but the cause was women's liberation - not Vietnam.

Spreedog is right about the burning of American flags but the word you want is 'draftcards' - the burning of which was another common form of protest.
