I mean all these toys and for me to figure it out. How dangerous is lead paint?

Uh, it is very dangerous - it has killed many kids already. Kids are always putting toys in their mouths, along with other items. Babies especially, since they learn to "feel" with their mouths instead of their fingers. Their tongues have more sensory feelings than their fingertips til they get a little older. If the kids weren't putting them into their mouths, I don't think the risk is really there. But it is something to be VERY concerned about if you have children

I grew up with lead toy soldiers. However, I never had the urge to put my toys in my mouth. As for lead paint you probably won't find any except in older buildings.

Children tend to put toys in their mouths, and the lead paint can lead to brain damage. It is a very serious problem, and there needs to be more oversight of ALL toys, no matter where they are made.
