I honestly didn't even think about it actually being somebody, but if I had thought about it... That would have been my last guess.. Who'da thought, right?

This sort of accounts for a logical connection between the song and Red Sox Nation. The other thing I found curious was that he was so moved to write a song about a little kid. Kinda creepy!

well my name is caroline and people sing that song to me all the time as you could imagie I was shocked when they sayed it was about caroline kennedy because I just thought he had a girlfriend named caroline.

Well.....I wish he'd take it back.........and the Kennedys while he's at it. I dislike the song immensely. I'm in Boston and many don't know this fact........the song is only one of many that the drunken fans sing at Fenway during the 7th inning stretch

1st of all, I've said on here before that I can't stand that song.
2nd, I guess it didn't come as a huge surprise for me. I'd heard something about it being connected to her thru Red Sox fans.... or something like that.....
