If so, when you fed her/him some did it change their bowels (or poops) at all?
My dog goes absolutley nuts for them whenever I eat one.
I gave her a little w/out the skin and she is hooked on them.

They LOVE them!! We have several apple trees, cultivated and wild and they love them all. Too many apples leads to the RUNS though. They find that out again each fall and only eat them in moderation!!!!
It is not apple seeds that are toxic....that is PEACH pits.

My sister has two poodles. One of them loves apples. He will almost dance to get one. The other will eat them but she isn't as crazy about them as the little boy is. Our vet said it is good for them. The peelings too.They are a good source of fiber. For people also. Don't really make any difference with the way they go to the bathroom. Maybe make it easier for them.

most dogs love to eat apples. Dogs in the wild eat stuff like that all the time. Try not to let your dog eat the seeds though....I hear that apple seeds contain natural arsenic.

He loves them---avoid the seeds of course, theyre toxic to dogs.

Not: Both are toxic. Peach pits also are a serious blockage threat. Many plant seeds are toxic though-generally for arsenic.
Edit: Cyanide, not arsenic.

My dog's favorite treat is apples! And no it doesn't change her "poops". She will eat every last bit of an apple, even the core. So don't worry about it!!

When im almost done with an apple i hold it for my dog and she'll eat it like we do, its hysterical. She takes little bites of it and I turn it for her. She loves 'em! It never ends up being too much of it that I think it ever effected her.
Here's a list of food you shouldn't ever give your dog.. apples aren't on it!

Apples and grapes are very bad for dogs.

Yes. Don't give them chocolate, grapes or raisins though. Its really best just to feed them dog food!
