Yes, it's ok as long as you are fine with it. Some moms nurse right up until they deliver their baby, others find it a little overwhelming (if they have a difficult pregnancy) and so they wean their nursing infant soon after conceiving. Some nursing babies also dislike the changes in mother's milk during pregnancy and they will self-wean.
You will just have to take it one day at a time for both you and your daughter.
And although uterine contractions are experienced during breastfeeding, they are a normal part of pregnancy and nothing to be concerned about (unless you are in a high risk category).
You can also continue to nurse past delivery, especially if you are committed to two years of breastfeeding for your child. The main thing to be aware of is your increased need for nutrition and fluids since you'll be "eating for three."
Congratulations!!

I was advised by my OB to not breastfed while pregnant but I did anyway. However, when I was pregnant with my 3rd my 2nd was only 6 months old. My 6 month old required more than I was producing so I had to supplement and then he stopped breastfeeding althoghther. I never breastfed two at once I just didn't want to do that, but my lactation councilor told me that if I did decide to continue to breastfed the older child I just had to make sure that the baby came first.

You sure can. I have known many women that have breastfed while pregnant and once they have the baby tandem feed. It's going to be hard at the start as you will feel like all you are doing is nursing. But it can be done. Just keep offering to nurse your daughter so your milk supple doesn't dry up. Your bodies natural response is to stop milk production once pregnant. But if you keep nursing regularly it can be done. Good luck.

As long as you aren't having problems it is fine to breast feed while pregnant. You might have trouble making a big enough supply for two and you might notice a big enough dip during the middle of you pregnancy but if not keep at it if you want to. It can cause pre-term labor and contractions so just keep an eye on things and talk everything over with your doctor. Make sure you eat enough to have a healthy pregnancy, and breast feed, and keep up with the vitamins.

So lengthy as its fortified, soy or almond milk will also be simply as well as cow's milk. A lot of humans say that "we aren't supposed to drink cow's milk" due to the fact we aren't intended to develop into a million,2 hundred pound cows. But truthfully, whenever you skim the milk down, fats-loose milk and soy/almond milk are just about same nutritionally talking. Maybe no longer chemically, however they each present calcium and the equal (to an quantity) nutrients. I could in my opinion cross with almond due to the fact soy may have a few facet-results on hormone phases. Plus both soy/almond milk have a creamier consistency than fats-loose milk fascinated about the equal quantity of Calories, calcium, and different nutrients/minerals. It's a win-win.

I think you should be okay, but that is something that I would talk to your doctor about or even call a lactation specialist. They would be able to address all your concerns better than anyone else. Congratulations!
