To combine your two names, I like "Geralee" or the more feminine J form, "Jeralee." Other spellings include "Jeraleigh", "Jaraleigh," "Jeraly," or even "Jeralie" if you don't mind a small pronunciation conflict. Though Shyannah does have a nice girly sound to it, some smart alecky kid could use it as a characteristic; "Hey, there, SHY ANNAH! Hyuk hyuk!" Believe me, living in the south, I've seen it. Cheyanna is a good alternative. However, both names are pretty uncommon, so think twice! If you still believe these names are what you're looking for, stick with it. In-laws, friends, nosy neighbors, etc are pitiful substitutes for a mother's intuition. Best of luck!

some of those are getting way overdone . . . my mom is a teacher and has 3 or 4 kaylees in her class and they all spell it differently . . . same with shaylee. names like emma, hannah and olivia are getting to be very common . . . same as isabel and other names that were thought of as "old lady names" a few years ago.

I don't like Millicent at all. Felicity Grace is a beautiful name by itself, but the name Felicity reminds me of someone I once knew... A sad story, but pleasent name. Ruby Anne I am not fond of. Coralina Peridot I don't like. I do love Olive though. I'm not sure why. it's one of those names everyone else thinks is strange, but I love.

I would try to use Lynn, it is a cute middle name. I'm a triplet and my name is Bailey Kay. We all have middle names after our mother, father, and grandmother. The other two are Brittany Lynn [yes my father's middle name is Lynn, i guess it is short for Lyndon] and Brandi Eve [my grandmother's name is Evelyn] We were suppossed to be quadruplets and her name was suppossed to be Bridget [not sure what her middle name would have been.] If one of us was a guy, one of us would have been named Briar [a unisex name.] My mother also loves the names Faith, Hope, and Charity [those were suppossed to be our middle names.]
I have cousins who are named Faith, Hope, Mercy, and Grace.
Have you seen the 1985 miniseries North and South? All of the women have WONDERFUL names. I took their names and added some adorable middle names to it:
-Brett Katherine
-Ashton Lorraine [she is the evil sister in North and South that we love to hate. ]
-Constance Elizabeth
-Madeline Alexandra
-Augusta Marie [or Augusta Maine. This is kind of a pun, like the state. AND in N&S, Augusta's lover was Charles Main.]
-Clarissa Anastacia
-Hope Elizabeth [yes, Hope is a minor character in North and South]
Others I like include are the names of actresses from North and South:
~Lesley-Anne [Lesley-Anne Down]
~Genie [Genie Francis]
~Terri [Terri Garber]
~Wendy [Wendy Kilbourne]
~Kate [Kate McNeil]

My name is Melodee Lynn, so my husband suggested turning it around and naming our daughter Lyndee. She is now 23 and actually likes her own name! Her middle name is Elizabeth, after his grandmother.
