I'm definitely a book junkie, always getting new books, so I have some that I haven't gotten to. I still have to read An Incomplete Education, for instance, and some biographies. Since I read books based on "what do I feel like reading now," there are a number of books I have yet to read (especially since I reread some of my favorites). There are others, like Beowulf and The Canterbury Tales, that I did read years ago. However, I have not read the copies I purchased yet.

How about you? Do you read every book you purchase or do you purchase more books than you can read (like me)?

Shake Hands With The Devil by Romeo Dallaire

This is a book about the Rwandan Genocide. Although I am very interested in reading the book, it is an emotional and difficult topic and I just haven't been able to steel myself to read it yet

I'm such a bad bookworm. I get a book (usually a used one) with every intent to read it but I get sidetracked by other stuff... so I have Don Quixote and Wuthering Heights, both of which are on my to-read list but neither of which I've gotten around to yet.

I also have an unopened copy of 'The Silmarillion', but I've read that. I bought myself a copy but haven't seen a need to read it or use it for reference recently.

It's a rare book I just bought called, "Sir Knight of the Splendid Way."
But I'll be opening it soon! I look forward to reading it. It's supposed to be a real gem!

Are you INSANE? Never open a book that I've purchased? That would be sacrilege! And no one I know would give me a book a wouldn't read -- although there are very few of those.

Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky.

*sigh* I know, I'm a bad English major. I just can't get through the thing.
