Their outfits have religious roots. Members of certain churches in Spain wear similar/identical outfits while performing ceremonies.

That was probably their way of showing God supported them because they wore religious clothing.

not sure I follow the correlation between the KKK and this group unless you think the robe looks like a dress and they are transexual...

Because of the symbolism and appearance of these costumes, it has been touted that superstitious blacks in the South thought KKK night riders were the actual ghosts of Confederate soldiers, riding their horses out of Hell to find a drink of water. However, these assertions are anecdotal and likely attributal to propaganda disseminated to not only bolster the image of the KKK as fierce vigilantes, but to foster as well false allegations that blacks and minority victims were backward and unintelligent savages. [citation needed]

The KKK's own militaristic origins in the Civil War also played a part in developing, and turned the Klan into a Proto-Fascist organization (true Fascism did not arise for several decades, and then in Europe)

i can't even see blacks gown up like KKKrs or JEWS as Nazis whether the point is so considerably sarcastic that it may be considered humourous. yet no, that's crossing the line. remember the stink whilst Prince Harry wore a Nazi uniform for a costumed ball some years in the past. If she had dressed up as a witch to honor all the harmless sufferers of the Inquisition who have been burnt on the stake, she could have achieved ultimate.

Mostly to remain anonymous by covering their bodies and heads with the hoods. The outfits are white for obvious reasons and they also usually have a logo on the left or right side of the chest.

While anonymity is of course important to them, the stated historical purpose is to represent the ghosts of the dead Confederate soldiers seeking vengeance on those who wronged them.

For the record: HATE GROUPS SUCK @$$!

The dress of KKK members of old was to protect their identity because their actions were often felonious.

Anonymity was the goal, and bed sheets were easily acquired, and fairly inexpensive.

The hoods protect their identities and the white colour is for fairly obvious reasons. Pathetic scum.

anonymity is a big part but when the Klan started they rode the night dressed as the ghosts of the dead confederates.

Because they wore dunce caps as they are ignorant small minded hateful idiots and their dress proves it. It was also so they can protect their rotten selves from those that they would hurt and lynch. They are the rot of America. They chose the color white as they want to look the very same as maggots.
