Five months ago, I bought a wireless G TiVo adapter. Doesn't appear to have been compatible with Vista then. Have things changed. Do I need a different wireless router? I have a cheap D-link, but thought it would work ok. Wrong. It's been sitting in a drawer till when I can use it. Now I don't have a landline and have run out of programming. I have high speed internet via Hughesnet. What do I need to do or buy to get back to getting updates/programming?

First check both Tivo and D-Link for router updates. Firmware for routers is constantly updated!!

A router is usually OS agnostic. You should be able to use any browser to access the "home" page (say 192.168.1.0), but if that does not work, there should be a firmware upgrade. Vista is out for almost a year.
