I noticed that too. We need to start a movement for tolerance of the rich white man.

Because any real candidate does not stand a chance in this media sponsored reality show that is produced directed and stars those select few people that play ball with the big boys .

Hillary and Obama both have a big enough skeleton in the closet to bring them down anytime they want .

The media just needs to dredge it up and smear the story across the front page and on every news channel if need be .

Look at our current White Male President. Look at the disasters he's caused. Look at the disasters he's ignored...Katrina. Maybe it IS time for a change. New perspective. Obama does not have a lot of experience, he plays the only tune he knows.." I never voted for this war". He plays it over and over, almost like someone would play a 'race card' or a 'gender card'. He did one good thing many years ago, woo hoo !!! Hillary definitely wears the pants in that family. I am nutral as far as Dem or Rep right now. I am doing a lot of research before I vote. I never voted for Bush, of that I am very proud, but woo hoo, that too was one good thing, many years ago. May the best qualified, and most American candidate win, no matter race, gender, or party.

John Edwards is still in the running. You will recall that John Kerry was running fourth or fifth in the polls prior to the Iowa caucus in 2004. In fact, I think that prior to the Iowa caucus, I didn't even know Kerry was running for president. When I found out he was running, I confused him with Bob Kerrey and kept telling all my friends that he had a fake leg. There really are no front runners until after Iowa and New Hampshire...

Because unlike what some of your other answerers would have us believe, the dems follows candidates that they feel are capable of making the greatest social statement.

And, throw common sense regarding qualifications and experience out the window when doing so.

We see it time and time again and we see them lose on this reasoning time and time again.

Don't give up on Edwards yet. Not because he is a white male, but because he is the true progressive of the bunch.

Considering that white males like me are a minority in this country, you should be asking why there are only white males among the Republican party's choices.

Doesn't that speak louder?

We should expect to see a minority of white males in office if things were equal.

Because people vote for the race/gender of the person not the issues.

Why is there no diversity at all among the republicans? All we're seeing is male and white, same as the past 230 years. I think it's a great thing that a woman and a minority are serious contenders for their parties nomination.

Why do you let the media completely control your thinking?

THEY picked only two candidates to talk about, and ignore all the rest.

People with minds of their own realize there are more than those two.

Edwards, for instance.

When was the last time the Republicans even considered a Presidential candidate that was not a white male?
BTW Don't count Edwards out yet.
