I am about to let you in on a little dirty government secret. do you know why the standard drinking age is 21 in almost all of this country?

correct answer: Because if it were three or four years younger than that, we would go through a devestating shortage of alcohol that would last ten years. why? because ted kennedy would pound every ounce of booze left in our miserable drunken nation.

Ted Kennedy is a very effective and principled Senator, whose constituents repeatedly re-elect.

When Ted made a mistake close to forty years ago, he plead guilty and paid the price. It's time to move on.

anybody that can get kicked out of college for cheating and kill someone and still be the voice of an entire political apparatus without repercussions must have some kind of innate abilities. Other than swimming and penmanship ofcourse

Any man who drinks as much as he did and does has my support .
So when he got his drunk driving event someone got killed BUsh totaled a car without injury and Chenny racked up a couple .

If you dig deep you will find that 58 elected congress and senators have drunk driving convictions .

Thats a lot of folks .

As much as I respect Laura Bush. They both killed a person with their reckless or drunk driving.

Other than that, Kennedy has had a pretty good record in the Senate. He must do well by the people of Massachusetts. They keep reelecting him.
