John
You are delusional if you really think that fewer deaths of American soldiers means "the tide has turned"

we have plenty to campaign on

Record deficit
housing going south
economy is false
dollar is dwindling to lowest levels ever
gasoline prices are highest ever
real unemployment is staggering
trade deficits
health care is a joke amonst republicans

AFTER 9-11 THE BORDERS ARE STILL NOT SECURE

IMCOMING FREIGHT AT THE PORTS
HAS INSPECTION RATE OF LESS THAN
10%

THE TWO POINTS ABOVE WLL BE THE MAIN REASON AMERICANS WILL TURN ON THE REPUBLICANS WHEN WE ARE ATTACKED AGAIN.
When you folks quip " we haven't been attacked again"
thinking that means Bush has done something good
or that our being in Iraq is why-
IT MAKES THINKING PEOPLE LAUGH OUTLOUD

THE TWO TWIN TOWER ATTACKS WERE 10 YEARS APART !!!

Right. We haven't lost close to 4,000 American military lives and killed hundreds of thousands of civilians and spent over a trillion dollars on a war that was based on lies. We have now met all the clearly defined objectives of the war. We've captured Osama bin Laden and brought the perpetrators of 911 to justice. The Constitution is intact We follow the spirit and the letter of the Geneva Convention. We are not holding or torturing prisoners without charges. The economy is doing great. There are no home foreclosures and gas is dollar a gallon. We've turned the corner on global warming. Every American also has affordable health insurance. I guess there are no issues in this election.

Tide has not turned at all. Iraq remains an American debacle. However, there are so many issues that Bush has screwed up that it could take a while to list. High points... the economy, state infrastructure, immigration, foreign policy, restoring credibility to the White house

They'll keep playing into the 'need' to bring all troops home when they full well know it isn't going to happen because it isn't in our interest.

They'll keep playing into the lib notion that we 'need' UHC when they know it isn't going to happen because we don't need it and it isn't feasible to begin with.

They'll keep playing on the nation's feigned 'needs.'

EDIT: Ten years in which nothing was done to prevent the second attack. Clinton was offered a chance to get bin Laden as recently as July, 2000 but obviously felt his popularity and budget were more important.

They can run on taking profits from legal companys and use the money as they see fit, or raise my taxes in order to pay for or start more social welfare programs, or maybe scrap the military again!
