Well 2-0 down and did anyone not expect this?
Surely this diabolical performance prooves that McDoughnut didn't have what it took from the start. What is he doing playing Scott Carson this early on in his career? A game like this calls for an experienced pair of hands, not someone who hasn't played at the top level before.
Every young goalkeeper will make silly mistakes due to lack on experience. Putting him in goal for this match made the chances of him making his mistakes today even greater as he will be wanting to impress so much, his anxiety will overwelm him and he could make even more mistakes.
Don't get me wrong. I think he has the potential to be a great keeper, I just think that he was not ready for this game and with the game beeing so important, the mistakes he has made will be harder for him to get over and hinder him in his career development.
The blame for all of this rests with McDohnut and he should be sacked as soon as the final whistle goes.
