Did you like it that way? How does he do it now?

Mine were never wrapped, and I liked it that way. My sister and I would get up early, and there it all was. Laid out and sparkling under the tree, all shiny and new. Almost like opening a treasure chest.

It was always wrapped. I liked it that way because it meant "Santa" found time to buy the gifts AND wrap it for me. =) Besides, he always wrapped it so nicely. It's the greatest feeling ever to finally be able to open the gifts on Christmas morning. Every time I opened a gift, a new sense of happiness surged through me. I always opened my gifts carefully too, so I could save the wrapping paper.

The presents were usually wrapped. My parents never encouraged me to believe in Santa Claus, and told me from earliest childhood that Santa was fake. They wrapped the presents, and I liked the mystery of what was lying beneath the wrapping paper. I also thought the wrapping paper itself was nice to look at.
