Before Roosevelt changed it to the 4th Thursday in November in 1941, to extend the Christmas season, it was celebrated on the last Thursday in November.

BTW Roosevelt's actions were to help us climb out of the Depression.

Tomorrow...The 22nd of November 2007. Or, officially, the 4th Thursday of November.
Not exactly when the "Pilgrims" celebrated it in 1621; after all, it was a "thanksgiving" feast for a bountiful harvest; a "harvest" feast if you will.

usually the last Thursday before the last weekend in November
