Once again you choose to believe an untruth. We believe in the right to make a personal choice. Without hypocrtical legislation of morality from the proven immoral.

I don't believe in organized religions version of God.
I don't particularly agree with abortion, although I think the better way to deal with this is to end the need for abortion because of unwanted pregnancies through rape or incest. Yes I know the number of pregnancies resulting from rape and incest are low but until they no longer exist I think abortion should be an option. The morning after pill is better.
All of that being said I think the general answer to your question is that perhaps some people abide by the belief that only God can and should judge people's actions.
Making abortion illegal isn't going to end abortion. It has existed since the beginning of man.

Well first of all, not everyone that believes in God believes in the same manner. Like politics, people tend to see thing the way "they'd" like to see them and not as they actually are.
Secondly, it is impossible to NOT believe in abortion - it happens, it is unequivocally “real”. Therefore anyone that does not believe in it (abortion) must have some sort of mental disorder. One can believe in something that is real yet not think it’s “right”.
Thirdly, Why has Y!A politics turned into a religious section? Should not Religion and Politics not be divide? Last time I was here people actually asked “political questions” whether it was a “rant” or not.

While i cant answer your question from the first person point of view. I believe with science , responsibility and religon all in the same issue there is a huge grey area. Some people accept that all people sin , others truly do not believe it is sin. Since I believe you are refering to the later I will say that they do not consider the fetus a life yet, and split hairs over which trimester they are in.

Explain "believe" in abortion. Abortion for most isn't the decision of candy bar or abortion. Consider the anti-abortion at all cost, what do they commit to make life better for the helpless children? Lots of things to consider about this, does war commit abortion or do we not think about things like this?

Abortion exists. I've seen the photos on the sandwich boards that you fools walk around with.
Can you give me the chapter and verse where God says "no abortion?"

There are a lot of people that don't care about their faith when it steps on their toes.
They would rather go on doing what they like and still calling themselves a good person since they "love God."

Jeff, I know what you're asking and I get your confusion. As a conservative and a confessing Christian, I will only say this. But for me, it's not about my personal feelings on the matter. It's about the fact that I don't want to live in a country that promotes death over life.

No one believes in both. They may claim to, but if they believe in the latter, they don't really believe in the former.

You can, I'm Catholic and I'm pro-life but that doesn't mean you can't be pro-choice. I know other Catholics that believe in abortion, I just don't think we should kill INNOCENT living things that God created.
