One of the ways I break down rap is in terms of how they deliver content, so which one of these style do you feel the most and why?

Conversational: [Jay-Z(prior to Kingdom Come), Beanie Siegal, B.I.G. TI ]
In this style it seems as if the rapper is talking to you. They may ask questons and answer them. They will seem as if they are directing comments to you directly.

Stream of Conciousness [ Ghostface Killah, Lupe Fiasco(sometimes) Cam'Ron ]
This style may sound like gibberish to the untrained ear. But really the artist is giving you a tour of his/her mind. These lyrics are similar to racing thoughts.

Cinematic [ Nas, Common, Slick Rick ]
This style paints very vivid pictures. These lyrics tend to have all the elements of a screenplay. Protagonist/Antagonist, Inciting Incedent, Plot twists.

Punchline Heavy [Canibus, Eminem, Cassidy]
These lyrics are very witty. These use all kinds of Literary practices such as, simile, metaphor, personification, oxymoron, etc...

This is hard 2 choose so I picked cinematic since Nas & Common are some of my favs. I like imagery that the artists send...

I also think its depends on the mood you're in 2... Sometimes u want Punchlines Heavy or sometimes other styles

lil wayne is quite metaphorical yeah and he can flow good where u dont even understand that hes flowing..thats why haters say he suck because they dont understand his flow advanced... listen to tha block is hot and that is flow that most the haters would like to hear, unfortunately its waynes flow still..just not advanced like it is today. drake is okay, IMO hasnt been around long enough to develop his own style, he is just doing thing now we kinda gotta wait a bit... TI is mostly fast straight forward not like tupac but straight forward and should have kept his fans down as soon as he got out of prison, but didnt. ludacris is good and is a mogul in the game, however his flow has been pretty much the same since word of mouf or before, kinda sad to have the same flow after 10+ years in the game eminem has always been ill just like any of the other cats up top his exception was that he could freestyle like CRAZY, his wordplay was CRAZY, and his written rhymes were dope and his sound was good too, but IMO relapse was good as far as rhyme skill goes...a lot of people backlashed against it and now you have recovery (he knows what fans like), but I still don't feel like recovery is as good as his old stuff.

I'm not a huge rap fan but I do like some rap so I guess I would say that my fav. rap style would have to be a little bit of conversational and punchline heavy. I would say that my fav. rapper would probably have to be tupac because his music was very much a reflection of his real life. What would you call his style of rap?

I like all those, as long as its saying something worth buying. i can't stand to hear lyrics every one else sang before just in a different beat. and for me i love the traditional sound. so i would try to keep for that. my favorite is Fort Minor. they have all of that.
