Yep! Tell me about it! It's one of my biggest issues with people! I am a very private person and I hate it when others invade my personal space! I can't stand being close to strangers, only close friends and relatives. The whole mwah mwah thing is soooo overdone here in Egypt! lol I usually shake hands with strangers with my arm extended at full length hoping that conveys the message. I hate it so much when that perfect stranger insists on pulling closer and engaging in that false charade of smacking kisses into the air! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH It drives me nuts!

As for that thing in lines, not just at the cash register, it makes me go nuts and brings out my worst! For heaven's sake there is a damn line, have some respect and wait for you ****ing turn! I usually give the person a very dirty look, and if that doesn't work I use my verbal ability as best as I could! lol Not rude but ice cold and sarcastic. The thing I hate most is when those idiots at the cash register have the guts to say "I only have 2 or 3 items!" What the hell do I care! Go to the line for less than 10 items or wait for your damn turn! OMG I'm raving now but this whole thing just drives me crazy!

no it's me too..especially the cash register thing, some idiots (of all ages and walk of life) do play dumb as if they are not paying attention that you are standing (and i m not that un-noticeable) and put there stuff or do something like that..first thing comes to my mind is i want to choke him/her..i usually give them "the look" but it works in the mild cases only, the severe cases i have to speak out and embarrass them..and ironically they go fast to the "dumb" part.."ah..la mo2akhza, makhatesh baly" and give you the feeling that you are the monstrous villain who is too cruel and stuff...
I HATE those playing dumb people...

As for personal space..i don't know i guess my space hasn't been violated since a long time..but yes i guess it's very irritating..

OH my YES! I'm a teller and though theres a glass in between you and the customer. People lean in and almost press their faces to the glass! Thats even close. I know its hard to hear sometimes through the glass but man it feels like they're trying to come through.

Not that I'm not a kid person but when people let their children in malls and supermarkets just roam and kids get all close wanting to touch you, the parents think its so cute. whatever!

Have they invaded your bubble??

It is not just YOU unless it is only Me and YOU lol

But when I am at a banking machine or paying for something... seems everyone is up in my space looking at my BIZ ... grrr
I don't mind when a friend and I are talking or my kids want to be close.... hey that is like family... NO WORRIES.
But strangers ......eww get back to your own space...and most times I really say that to them.. HEY there is no need for YOU to be standing right here.... BTW take your kid and his sticky fingers with ya.
Another pet peeve I have is parents letting their kids run wild in stores..... UMM HELLOOOO I am trying to shop.
Good question

Yes & Yes! It especially bothers me at the grocery store when I push my cart all the way ahead so the bagger can load it - and 10 seconds later, then next person in line has already pushed theirs so far up behind me that I can't get back to the cashier or the credit card machine!!! #$@@@!#@#%

Yes. My neighbor puts his face about an inch away from mine. I turn away--walk away, he's still there. He sits on the couch and if I walk past he grabs out at me. He says, "C'mere, I aint gona hurt you." I dont answer the door and he calls from the porch- I dont answer. An hour later he's back knocking on the door again. He calls and says were real close and I reply that we are only friends. He knows when I get home from work at night. Yes, it bothers me when people dont respect my personal space. And, I'm tired of hearing about sports!!!!!!

Sometimes... When I feel encroached upon, I will pass a little gas to reclaim my space. It usually works, but if it doesn't I would seriously consider whether or not I have found myself a new friend. Because if they can stand THAT smell, they may just be good to have around...

No i agree with you it does annoy me when people stand right next to me when im trying to pay for something at the store. It makes me feel rushed like i have to hurry up and get out of there way. Another thing that annoys me is when im holding the door open for someone and they dont even acknowledge me, it just really gets to me for some reason!!..ugh. hahaha

No, it bugs the hell out of me too... I think most people now days are so comfortable with themselves that they fail to respect others personal space... Good thing I was blessed with a very loud and very easily motivated mouth... I don't mind asking someone to get off of me.. or for them to stop breathing down my back...

Their was this guy in class who way too close to me, I mean he was so immature and kept punching his friend who sits next to me. I got so mad that I put a book on the side so he couldnt get through :P He got mad and knocked it down. I mean this guy was like two meters away from me, I can smell his damn breath.
