Yes i would be worried about the bleeding. I would be at the hospital instead of at home. You could stay a centimeter for weeks. I know i stayed 3 for 2 weeks.

I am not going to tell you to be worried, because I don't want to make you anymore worried then you already are. But I can tell you that it's not supposed to happen. I had a baby at 33 weeks and when I had her I was 2 centimeters. There are techniques the Dr.'s can do to make your labor either stop or slow down. Are you still in the hospital?Does the Dr. have you on bed rest? Take it easy, don't walk around too much. Rest. Relax.

Just remember it isn't your fault that this is happening, if the baby is ready to come, there isn't much anyone can do about it. I wish someone would have told me that when I delivered early. Good Luck Sweetie, stay strong and relax.

If the hospital aren't worried, then maybe you shouldnt, but its natural you are. What did they say about the bleeding? has it stopped? Have they let you home? have you had signs of labour. Phone the hospital if you are at all concerned, or your symptoms get any worse, especially if you start having contractions as they will have to try slow down or stopping labour.

Asking questions like that here is like asking your mechanic how to bake bread. You might get a great recipe, or you might get big greasy thumbprints on your ham sandwich. You simply don't know who will answer, or if they have true experience and training, or just a modem and a few minutes spare time.

In other words - ask your doctor.
