Great player...but I don't think so...

Priest Holmes does not have the stats to make it into the Hall of Fame. There are a lot of players with better stats that did not make it. He has a super bowl ring, but was the backup behind Lewis at Balimore. He only had 4 complete seasons, injury prone. sorry....of course, I don't have a vote....LOL

He had a career very similar to Terrell Davis, who had 3 AMAZING years, some of the best years in history, but then was injured and the rest of their careers sucked. If Terrell Davis still isn't in the HOF, I don't think Priest Holmes will make it for a while. Ultimatly I do think Holmes and Davis will both make it, but as for Priest, I think it will be a long wait

Priest's stats: 106 Games, 8172 yards, 92 Touchdowns

That puts him in the mid 30s in career yards, and out of the top 20 in career touchdowns.

He hasn't got the numbers to compare to the all time greats; he's not going in the Hall.

Probably not.

He had some incredible season with KC, but I have a feeling he'll be in the Terrell Davis category.

8172 rushing... so he didn't reach the coveted 10K threshold.

The MVP, several Pro Bowl seasons and the TDs help, but with no Super Bowl wins, I'd say he's an outside shot.

TD has fewer yards, but an MVP, and two Super Bowl rings, and he's considered a long shot too.

He's a terrific player and ambassador for the game. His charity work, always a class act...

More and More average players have been getting into the hall of fame, but i don't believe priest holmes will make it...

72 yrds/game which translates to about 8000 yrds. over 11 yrs.? hmmm i don't think so, but it's sure possible

The Chief's Hall of Fame? Maybe. The NFL Hall of Fame? I doubt it. He didn't make enough of an impact in his rather short career to really belong.

I don't think so. While at times he did put up good to great numbers he wasn't very consistent.

Priest is another player who has been stricken by the injury bug that has cost him a chance at the hall.

its debatle because he is a great player but he was injured 7 years into his career. If he would have not been hurt their would be no question about it but i still think he should be ellected to the hall.

No, he wasn't dominant for a long enough period of time. He only had 3 Pro Bowl seasons.

Definitely not a 1st ballot HOF. I'd be very surprised if he ever gets into the HOF.
