Well I know you're joking but I'm suppose to go over my mom's house too and I really don't wanna go. I'm not in the mood to cook or be around any people. I know that is wrong but I'm PMSing and Thanksgiving just doesn't sound like fun this year.

Yes. It sounds like you have an obsession with the internet that borders on addiction. It would probably be good for you to be "offline" for a couple of days. You won't miss anything by not being online temporarily-- trust me!
Have some pumpkin pie with your mom, and go outside and throw around a football with your nephews (or any other willing relative). It will be good for you.

Nah. You're right on. If you can, put in your time. Like, from 1-3. That's what we're doing. For example, my sister simply doesn't appreciate the tradition and beauty of the Lions' Thanksgiving day game. So we're eating and running home to watch the game. Your mom should anty up and get internet access and my sister should shut up and let us watch the game....or we just won't be there to grace them with our presence. Happy holidays. But don't get in my way. ;o}

ROFLOLOLOL-- I love all your questions! My sides always ache after I read them-- which I really need and one of the big reasons I come here. Life can really suck, and its nice to have a place to come where we can all laugh, be silly and have fun with friends.
I think this one year, you should sacrifice for Mom, but maybe you can sneak a laptop WiFi in and get a hit in a back bedroom if you get really desparate. I'm here for you, my friend.

Even though you said you were joking, I would hope that you have a lot more respect for your mom than that. Cherish her while you have her. I lost both of my parents 15 years ago. In '91 I had both of them for the holidays that next year neither of them; worst holidays ever. You can do without Y/A for one day.

You're not wrong for not going to your mothers for Thanksgiving.
But, if this is indeed a serious question, you should rethink your need to be so near the internet. It's obviously coming between you and real human interaction.

I don't think your wrong for not wanting to go to your moms for T-day, HOWEVER, (AND YES HERE IT COMES) that has got to be the most wussy reason for not wanting to go...ever: Get over yourself, all of us cyber dorks will get along just fine without your infinite wisdom for the few hours you will be away. Spend some quality time with your mom

Well, I suppose your mother wouldn't want you to come then. I mean, you should be spending it with family, not with a computer. Perhaps no internet would be good and you and your mom/family could connect and play a card game or something.
