I wish you had put a little more detail into your question. I'm not sure if you had in mind a lasting gift for them or not. However, I treated both my good friends to ice cream cones from Coldstone and they loved me for it. It only set me back like thirteen bucks. The laughter appreciation and the tasty memory created has me smiling right now.

Subscriptions to puzzle books are pretty inexpensive. Try finding out if they like Logic Problems, Kakuro, Sudoku, Crosswords or Word Searches and they can get a year's worth for around $7 per person.
