"Rivers Run One Way"
Do you ever wonder why rivers run one way,
have you sat in silence, a special place you stay.
Many thoughts abound, yet spoken words not heard,
Alone or lonely, a choice we make, how it seems absurd.
Thinking of the past, seeing success and failure too,
sitting close to GOD, is what I vigilantly must do.
Winds of change appear, yet rarely do we see,
the forest through the trees, as winds lift you and me.
This chatter that I hear,, makes my stomach turn,
living everyday for him,, a new love that I must earn.
Look,, there's GOD,, In the wind, the birds, the wind, the trees,
Painting pictures by the river, always there to please.
You are like my river, in my heart you stay.....
Do you ever wonder,,, "Why Rivers Run One Way?
