Hmmmm Welfare Reform....who was president then? you folks taking conservative credit for that if you are implying it was a republican majority in Congress that accomplished this, then you'd best remove the end of the cold war!!!!

Ending Slavery...who opposed the civil rights legislation of the 60's isn't that the true begining of the end of Slavery?

Ending Vietnam. Go back and listen to the watergate tapes. Listen to Nixon and Kissenger talk about how they got south vietnam to back out of pendiong peace agreement in Sept of 68 just prior to the election, then talk about how they had tro keep the war going to ensure Nixon got re-elected. The beauty here is that it this is coming from their own mouths.

Ending the cold war and soviet bankruptcy was initaited by falling oil prices and loss of soviet income. Hmmm who got the US oil consumption down by legislating fuel efficiency standards?

hmmmm..

just wondering?

Do you mean like the Senate did two weeks ago when they voted against the Democrats to help end the Iraq war and instead voted to hang onto bush's coattails again. Spinless cowards.

Conservatives didn't end the war, Republicans did. There is a difference between Conservatives and Republicans because a Conservative can sway to any political party. Just because someone is a Republican doesn't automatically make them a Conservative. Any who, there are plenty of achievements of Conservatives that could be named, they are human just like the next person.
