It seemed like back in the 70's/80's everyone was releasing them; Peter Frampton, Kiss, Triumph, Heart, Meatloaf, The Who, Iron Maiden, Anthrax...the list is endless!
Did you ever own any of these now collectible records? Maybe you still have them?

Did anyone own any of those early 70's A&M British pressings that appeared to be black vinyl, but when held up to a bright light become a semi translucent dark red? They're quite collectible these days.

I still own Paul Stanley's Solo Album as a picture disc and Alice in Chain's Jar of Flies Douple LP where the one was blue and the other orange. That's about all, the quality wasn't as good as standard vinyl I think though.

Hmm..how about a purple double bootleg from Led Zep from US tour 71-72 (?) with a version of John Lee's "Boogie Chillum"? The sound wasn't the greatest..but some tracks made it onto "How The West Was Won" I believe.

I have Beatles - Love Songs on Gold Vinyl, 1964 - 1966 on Red, the 1967 - 1970 on Blue, and Sgt. Pepper on marble vinyl.

I have the Who - Who Are You on Red.

And as for picture discs I have a George Harrison one and I think that is about it.

Beatle Fanatic...I own that exact same Geils album, the red vinyl one. All my Geils collection is vinyl though. I have an album of theirs that is blue vinyl too, can't remeber which one tho...maybe Nightmares.
I also own the same Jar Of Flies pressing that Darkwood has.
Fourstarchef......UGH....Bless You.

Missed this one yesterday(Had to prep 250 Turkeys, ugh)
I have the KISS Japanese Rock and Roll Over and Over LP(Christmas Gift) and, A David Bowe LP(Not Sure which one)
The KISS one is not black but red, and their eyes are more so slanted than round. Please Don't Anyone Be Offended, I did not make this album. But it is pretty cool.
