how to scare spirits away?

How can people scare bad spirits away?..., like some other instrument.

Cleansing your house of bad spirits is easy. You merely burn sage in each room, saying a little prayer to admonish any evil or bad spirits.

When you have finished this, merely take a large river rock, bless it with good feelings and good karma, and assign it the duties of house guardian. Place it near your doorway. Any who mean you harm will not be able to cross the thresh hold.

I have dealing with ghosts or spirts, good and bad. I was 5 years old when I first say my 1st ghost and was greatful I was not the only one. I have a question for you. How do you know it is a bad spirit and not just a restless and confused ghost or spirit.
We all jumped to conclusions which my not be correct. I belong to a Paranormal Group and have been actively seeking out these spirits since I was 5 and am still tying to figure them all out. I have had spirits knocked me so hard in my chest that I found myself lying on my back on a smaller grave a foot or more behind me. What is strange about that is I never felt it even touch me. I have had something walk through me, pull my hair be its roots and the list goes on. The are ones I consider to be bad.
The way our Group goes after these to send them to the light even when I sometimes wanted to send them to Hell. We use smudge sticks, Sweet grass or sage and Holy Water and we tell them in no certain tones that they are dead and tell them the year it is and just use a scolding voice with the "bad" ones and some will leave and some will choose not to leave so we just do everyting all over again only more of a scolding tone. We also ask it if will talk into our digital recorders so we can hear what they have to say. A couple of people I know very well went to a Warlocks grave and asked questions and I was shocked at what I heard and glad I was not 1 of these 2 people. One of them poured Holy Water in the empty grave as someone stupidly dug up his grave and took the headstone too.
There are so many ways that people try to get rid of bad spirits and you will get several different answers. The thing you need to do is to sort out what feels comfortable for you to do and you never do this alone. Not ever.
Since we don't know what type of bad spirit it is there are differnet ways for different ones.

Not really able too-However neagtive entities can go with a prayer for Arch Angel Michael to come, and some sage will do the trick to cleanse the place.
Activity in a home suddenly, usually is due to a loved one whom has cross over and wishes to communicate that they are alright. One the message is recieved correctly they leave or stop.

love these older questions.. the early egyptians loved and worshiped cats. #1) during the bible time when god cursed egypt, the early egyptians were experiencing many bad spirits and bad karma. famine, etc. the people would see these bad spirits happening and taking form every day. on the roads, houses and in individual lives. it was said that a small crowd fleeing from the curse of god, encountered a small city that was totally occupied with what we call the domestic cat. there were no tigers or other larger cats in this city. and upon entering this city ruled by cats, the small crowd claimed that they felt safe immediately. and that the cats greeted humans with sheer curiosity. but the small crowd of people fleeing from the negative vibes and curse of god, felt totally at peace in this city. and of coarse the word got out about the city and people migrated into it. after introducing the cat to the ruler of egypt, the ruler was said to bow down to the cat that was presented to him. before long, cats were introduced to the rest of egypt where the cats can prosper and be protected by humans from the other larger animals that can kill the small cats. so in no time the entire country was crawling with cats. thus, by claim and ancient letters found inside pyramids, the country felt that the curse of god was lifted. famine thinned out as well as evil spirits. and everyone prospered. wealth was finally a reality. 2) the early egyptians not only worshiped cats for spiritual purposes, but learned how to protect the country natural resources from the plagues that were happening.. the locusts, rats, etc, that once destroyed massive crops of wheat and grains that would feed the hungry egyptians, were thinning out and being controlled. they would see that cats would kill these problems... that cats would be skilled at killing even cobras. cats would control the overpopulation of these pests and egyptians were very happy and pleased with the cats. they worshiped these cats to the fullest. and every house or establishment had dozens of cats for these two reasons.

* Assortment Of Threads In Different Colours
* Scissors

Cut the threads into 1-to-2 inch lengths and drop them one by one into the jar, say this as you drop each one:
